Prayer Watches

Why We Watch

"I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night."Isaiah 62:6 (NKJV)

God has always called His people to watch. A watchman stays awake while others sleep and sees what is coming before it arrives. When the church watches in prayer, the city is covered.

Jesus told His disciples, "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation" (Mark 14:38). When Peter was in prison, "constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church" (Acts 12:5), and God sent an angel to open the doors.

Our eight daily watches keep that prayer going around the clock. Every hour of the day is held before the Lord.

Our Priestly Calling

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people."1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

Every believer is a priest before God. A priest stands in the gap and carries others into God's presence. In each watch we carry:

The Watches

Join the WhatsApp group for your watch. The Zoom link is the same for every watch.

How It Works

• Each watch is 30 minutes.
• You may join more than one watch, as many as you can carry.
• You may change watches to suit your day or season. The Zoom link stays the same.
• At times a watch may be taken over by a church corporate prayer. When that happens, join the corporate prayer.
• Prayer points will be shared to guide each watch.
• If another time would help you, let us know and we can add more watches.
